Kevin was born and raised in a rural town in Northern NJ. Kevin was always facinated with construction equipment. Kevin's father was a heavy operator and he would take Kevin with him to work as young as 5 years old. Kevin would sit on a rock and just watch in 'aww'. The way his Father made his machine move was Awesome! Kevin knew from that day he would follow in his father's footsteps as a machine operator and had the passion for outdoor projects.
As a child, Kevin was always aspired to run a machine as he grew older. Then one day it happened! Kevin's father asked him to come up and get in the machine. His Dad gave him the controls to run a machine. Kevin sat on his dad's lap in a Kohoring 1066 Excavator and loaded a 30 ton Euclid Haul Truck. ...And the rest is history.
At the age of 16, Kevin went to work Full Time as a heavy equipment operator. At this young age, Kevin already had many years of experience running machines. This just seemed to be where he wanted to start his career during and after High School. Kevin worked on many different projects like housing, shopping centers, even the NJ Convention Center in Piscataway during his teen to mid 20s.
During Kevin's Mid 20s, he relocated to the Montgomery County area in Pennyslvania. Kevin worked for many reputable construction companies serving the Tr-State Area. Outdoor Projects is born in his blood. Kevin was able to learn more about the earth's terrian. Kevin has operated equipment in landfill's,on highways, bridges, pipelines, residential and industrial developments and even built tracks for Supercross and Monster Jam around the USA!
In the 20th century, Kevin was able to explore the USA and relocated with his Bride and 2 children to Northern California. Yet again, Kevin stayed within his passion for the 'Outdoors' and was hired with one of the Top 10 Globally ranked companies as their equipment operator. Kevin worked on multi-million dollar home's and on the Sacramento Levey system working along the Sacramento and Feather Rivers.
2007-2008: Kevin spent 6 months working in Santa Fe, New Mexico on a light rail system excavating 12 million yards of dirt and rock to make way for the new commuter rail. Eventually, Kevin moved back to the East with his family to the Montgomery County area where they currently reside.
2010: After 27 years of Full Time in the Construction Industry, Kevin decided he needed a change. Now married 15 years and a Father of two children, Kevin wanted to control his time at home more with less traveling. Kevin started plowing snow for side work and Kevin's customers started asking, 'What do you do in the warmer months?'
Hence, .... this is how KP & Son Services LLC. was born!! Kevin got alot of "Hey can you haul this and can you grade that"! Of course, Kevin would!

Here's the story: Prior to KP & Son being Established: Kevin the 'homeowner' hired a contractor to work on his property who he thought they knew what they were doing and guess what, HE WAS WRONG! Kevin's the 'homewoner' got burned by a local contractor. Since Kevin was working 50 plus hours a week, he didn't have the time to do this project at home. That's why he sought out to hire a local contractor. Since the contractor did a poor unfinished job, Kevin ended up re-doing and completing the work anyway!!! This is how Kevin has drivin himself to focus on the budget minded homeowner while doing estimates. Kevin will strive to do all his work as affordably for the customer as he can and still turn a small profit/labor.
Its with great pride that Kevin can honestly say, 'I belong in this industry. If for nothing to protect my fellow homeowners from shyster contractor's! And I will be the first to say "no" if I think the job is to much for my company to handle. I don't pretend to be "The Big Guy" I'm just someone who want's to provide good quality service and value to my customer's.'
